PLEASE NOTE: We do work with an established Dental practice in Edinburgh. Having taken the mould of a client's teeth and gums, this is sent to Scotland for the custom-fit tray to be made. The gel and tray are sent directly to the client from Scotland.

How long does it take?

The first stage of the process is to take a moulding of your teeth. This is used to prepare your custom-fit tray which lies at the heart of the system. The salon will have your custom-fit tray ready for use 2-3 days after your visit. You will then be shown how to use the system. Many people will see visible results after their first treatment. To maximise your results, you should use the custom-fit tray for 2-4 hours each day for two weeks. You can expect the colour of your teeth to lighten by 3 - 9 shades!

It is true that there are cheaper teeth whitening systems around. The snag all of these have is that they rely on the whitening agent being brushed onto the teeth and left. This exposes you to quite a strong solution of the whitening agent since it does not have much time to work ! The success of the Hollywood Smiles Tooth Whitening System is that the custom-fit tray is comfortable to wear; the whitening agent is placed in the tray and the tray is a comfortable fit in the mouth and can be retained easily for 2 - 4 hours, giving the process plenty of time to work.
