Floatation Room

 

 

We hope to be able to offer this during 2006 !

 

The Float Room is 2.4 m long by 1.3 m wide by 2.2 m high. The room has a door for easy access and once you are inside, are you in for a FANTASTIC experience! You will not want to get out!

 

 

The tank is filled to calf height with a very strong solution of epsom salts that is totally sterile and so dense (similar to the waters of the Dead Sea !) that you float effortlessly in only a few centimetres of water.

 

 

The principle of the float room is to remove you from external stimuli, allowing you to achieve a state of relaxation way beyond anything possible normally. The water is at body temperature and without any stimuli to distract you, you will be able to switch off and reach a state of such peace where you are not quite asleep but are in a state of almost no consciousness.

 

An hour later and a quick shower to cleanse your skin of the salts and you will be ready for anything!

 

It is common for people to say that one hour in the floatation tank is the equivalent of eight hours sleep.
