Hairdressing Salon
Waxing
Before having your waxing in the salon, remember NOT to apply body lotion, swim or have a bath/shower. The reasons for this are the body lotion will not allow the hairs to be picked up completely; bathing, showering or swimming will result in the skin being softened, retaining water, resulting in 'skinning' during waxing, leaving the treated area sore and red.
Waxing needs to be carried out by a highly-skilled, competent beauty therapist. Debbie Locke Health and Beauty would only recommend this approach; many of our clients have come in to the salon following terrible 'home disasters'.
