Hair Care

Winter hair problems can include dry hair with split ends, leading to frizziness. A good solution for this is regular trims every five to six weeks; additionally, the application of a ultra-moisturising hair mask weekly will give excellent benefits.

Dull hair can be revived by our Stylists; a few lowlights/highlights will give it that 3-D lift.

Controlling Dandruff.

At any one time, millions of people have this chronic scalp disorder, which is marked by itching and excessive flaking of the scalp and embarrassment. To control dandruff, mild cases may need nothing more than daily shampooing with a gentle cleanser; more persistant dandruff often responds to medicated shampoos. You can't prevent dandruff but you can reduce your risk of getting this persistent condition. Dandruff can be reduced by:

Reducing stress in your life

Shampooing your hair often if you have an oily scalp

Reducing the use of hair sprays, styling gels and mousses

Having a good diet, with lots of fresh vegetables and fruit

Mild exposure to sunlight, but don't burn!

Depilation - getting rid of that unwanted hair! Should I wax or should I shave? Although its obvious that both methods remove hair, waxing not only removes the visible hair, but also removes hair deeper in the skin. therefore, the hair regrowth time is longer. While it is true that waxing tends to be more painful, the majority of women (and men!) prefer waxing since, over time, hair regrowth reduces. The dnesity of new hair is lower; also, the hair is finer. Over time, hair regrowth may almost stop. In fact, in the Middle East, particularly Iran, body hair is removed by waxing etc., from a young age, resulting in women having little body hair growth in later life.
