The skin on our face has to be the most visible and therefore the most precious to us! Always make sure you cleanse your face at least twice before going to, to remove all traces of makeup. Make sure you use a cleanser that has been designed to remove makeup. Rinse your face using clear warm water and then use a soft towel to gently dry your skin, using a patting action rather than rubbing. Then, when you wake in the morning, your face will be lovely and fresh and ready for the new day.

 

Apply lip liner when wearing lipstick to prevent the lipstick from 'bleeding'. This will help the lipstick last longer too.

 

 

Always test foundation on clean skin along the jawline; this makes it much easier to get the correct colour match for your skin tone. Don't forget that the goal of applying a foundation is to create a smooth and even appearance of the facial complexion; it is not necessary to create a heavy mask.

 

Now that the sun is higher in the sky, a lot of people reach for sun protection cream. However, it is not just on lovely summers days that you risk skin damage from the sun. Even on cloudy autumn and spring days, your skin could be harmed by UVB from the sun. So, always wear a sun cream with an spf of at least 15. Sustained use of this will help prevent lines and wrinkles.
